slime molds, despite the unappealing name, are pretty sweet
on a somewhat realated note, this weekend while on a school cross-country ski trip i impressed two of my english teachers by providing the answer to a crossword that had stumped them, the word being stipe (the stalk of a mushroom). fuck yes mycology.
